Apple has been expected to launch the next-generation of iPhones later this year. Although the company has not confirmed the existence of the smartphone or anything else about it, the device is being tipped as the iPhone 13 or iPhone 12S series. Some rumours and speculations have also made it to the web, thanks to tipsters and analysts. Here, we list down all of them made by them over the past few months. Read on.
Apple iPhone 13 release date
Considering that Apple usually launches its major iPhone series on Tuesdays or Wednesdays in the month of September, and the sales begin in the first tier of countries starting next Friday. This year, the devices are expected to be unveiled on September 8 along with a September 17 release date.
iPhone 13 price
Although this is a long shot, we can only predict the price of the unannounced iPhone 13 series based on the history of iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 base prices. Since the iPhone 12 base model was priced $99 more than the iPhone 11 due to 5G as the key feature addition, this years iPhones might not see a massive jump in price since the technological upgrades are not being said to be as big.

iPhone 13 cameras
As far as the cameras go, the iPhone 13 series may get a periscope camera for a larger zoom range. In addition, the 2.5x zoom in iPhone 12 Pro Max could come down to iPhone 13 non-pro models. It has also been predicted that the wide-angle sensor could get a 6P lens for better distortion. It may also get a larger aperture of f/1.8 for better light intake in low light situations.
While the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max came with LiDAR sensor, all the models in iPhone 13 series are expected to get these sensors for better AR content and portrait shots.
iPhone 13 series may get 120Hz display
This has been long rumoured in iPhones and it may finally come in iPhone 13 models as indicated by analysts and tipsters. However, it has been widely mentioned that iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max could be the only ones to get a 120Hz display. Furthermore, these devices could have an Adaptive refresh rate, which can switch to 120Hz when required and back to 60Hz in places where you dont need it.

TouchID button in iPhone 13
TouchID display could make a comeback this time. According to a tipster, Apple may use Covid-19 and iPhones incapability to recognise the face with a mask as an excuse to bring back TouchID. Also rumoured is that the devices could use under-screen touchID tech. It could also embed the touchID directly on the physical power button like it did in the iPhone Air 4.
