A national police operation has seen 64 guns and $35,000 worth of cash seized in Northland in the past three months.
During this time 42 people were also arrested, police said.
Operation Tauwhiro was rolled out by police in February to prevent firearms getting into the hands of gangs and organised criminal groups.
On May 6, multiple search warrants were conducted in Waim linked to the Tribesman gang, police said.

A search of the address found 13 firearms including rifles, shotguns and a semi-automatic firearm, along with a significant amount of ammunition.
In March, 16 firearms, including a semi-automatic weapon, were located following three search warrants in Whangrei and Kerikeri.

Two grenades were also found, however upon further examination were found to be inactive.
A man was arrested in relation to the unlawful possession of firearms.
Across the entire country, 522 firearms have been seized as part of the operation and 476 arrests have been made.
Detective inspector Bridget Doell said police also lawful firearms holders to ensure their guns are safely and securely stored to prevent them from getting into the hands of organised crime groups.
We know that these groups target firearms, and its important gun owners ensure they have appropriate measures in place to prevent being an easy target of gun thefts, such as securing any firearms in a locked and hidden safe.
