The Australian state New South Wales has recorded 239 new locally-acquired cases of Covid-19, Premier Glady Berejiklian announced Sunday.
Twenty-six people were infectious in the community, Berejiklian said.
Berejiklian also urged the community to come forward to get vaccinated, saying she was pleased to announced in the last 24 hours the state had vaccinated more than 82,000 people, but added she hoped they could do even better.

To get to the 70 per cent target we need 9.2 million jabs. To get the 80 per cent target we need 10 million jabs.
Earlier on Sunday, NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard told ABCs Insiders that whether Sydney reaches zero new cases and emerges from lockdown in four weeks is entirely dependent on the response of the community, Sydney Morning Herald reported.
When pressed on whether he thought the lockdown could be extended if the goal of zero cases isnt reached, Hazzard said he was not going to postulate on that at this stage.
Were focused on getting our vaccines up. And were trying to get people to stay at home, he said. We are quite concerned at the numbers continuing to remain relatively high. Theyre bouncing around.
What is positive, of course, is that theyre not going up in a rapid way, theyre staying around about the same figures.

Sundays numbers follow Saturdays announcement of 201 new local coronavirus cases recorded in NSW, 138 of which were people under the age of 40.
Meanwhile, Queensland recorded nine new locally-acquired cases on Sunday morning, the highest spike in local cases the state has seen in almost 12 months.
Eleven local government areas in south-east Queensland are currently in a three-day snap lockdown which began Saturday afternoon, after six cases were identified that day in connection to a high school student.
The current restrictions are the harshest the sunshine state has seen.
Four new cases were also recorded in Victoria on Sunday morning.
The states Department of Health confirmed all four cases had been in isolation throughout their infectious period and can be linked to the states current outbreak.
