I had a wonderful moment once at a local grocery store. Old lady in front of me was counting out her bills and change and was down to the last little change in her purse… maybe not able to make the payment…
The young lady who was a cashier was looking sad for the old lady and I was able to catch her attention. I did a silent and quick motion to myself and a wave and she got what I was trying to say and smiled and told the old lady “Its okay… its free today!”
The old lady was almost crying as she walked away. The cashier gave me a fist bump and all was good as I paid for the old lady and myself. Money well spent.
