Snow might have been falling from the sky back in Milwaukee, but in Miami on Tuesday night, the Bucks were making it rain from beyond the arc.
Milwaukee set the single-game NBA record for 3-point field goals made, with 29 in a 144-97 victory over the Heat.
The only Bucks player to play in the game and not knock down a trey was reigning MVP and Defensive Player of the Year Giannis Antetokounmpo, who ended with nine points.
Khris Middleton led the way with 25 points (4-of-5 on 3s) while Jrue Holiday added 24 points (6-of-10) as the Bucks won on the first night of a back-to-back set at Miami.
Their 47-point victory also tied for the third largest over a defending conference champion, according to ESPN Stats & Information research.
“Some nights the basketball gods are with you a little bit, and it’s probably one of those nights for us,” Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said.
