Manchester United have had a solid season but if they want to secure silverware they will need to make some changes to their squad.
They have already managed to bag star player Edinson Cavani on a one-year contract extension after his heroics this season but they have much bigger fish in their targets.
United want to sign England captain Harry Kane but they face competition from rivals Manchester City and French club Paris Saint-Germain.
Another star, Jadon Sancho, is one they have wanted to sign all season and it seems the midfielder could be on his way to Old Trafford.
Solskjaer told Norwegian outlet TV : “We are second best, but too far behind to threaten those who won. Then we have to strengthen ourselves
“Of course, something will happen in the transition window. The world has become very different than 15-16 months ago, but we have to make some moves on the transfer window, but also with the team.
“It is never possible to sit back. You are constantly looking for reinforcements. Football is dynamic, so unexpected things can happen such as injuries, illness, something familiar or that someone wants to move.”
Mirror Football has rounded up the latest United transfer news and taken a look at who is on the club’s radar.

Trippier keen to join United
It has been reported that Atletico Madrid and England star Kieran Trippier has told his national teammates he is keen on moving to United this summer.
Trippier is currently in the England camp ahead of the Euros and told other players the move is something he would be interested in pursuing.
United will have to fork out for the right-back as it is said he is worth between £15million and £20m.

Negotiations underway in Sancho deal
United have waited a long time to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho and the deal seems to be getting closer as negotiations are said to be underway.
However, Manchester Evening News are reporting the deal could take longer than United would like as Dortmund haven’t publicly communicated an asking price for the player.
Agreements between the player and United are said to be progressing but it’s yet to be seen if a deal can be done.

Andreas Pereira loan to be extended
Andreas Pereira looks to be staying in Lazio on loan rather than make a return to Old Trafford next season.
Corriere dello Sport reports another loan spell at the Italian club could be available to him after spending this season at the side.
He has previously been on loan to Granada and Valencia, spending just two season at parent club United after signing for them in 2014.
