Proteas left-arm spinner George Linde showed good signs of recovery from a finger injury and bowled on the second day of the second Test against Pakistan in Rawalpindi.

Linde, who bowled two overs before the new ball was taken, left the field on the first day after injuring his finger while attempting to field off his own bowling.
In a statement updating on his fitness, Linde’s wound had been managed and appropriately protected to give him an opportunity to bowl in the first innings.
Linde’s recovery was part of a very good first session for where South Africa took three wickets to reel in Pakistan.
Anrich Nortje got rid of Babar Azam (77) and Mohammad Rizwan (18) while Temba Bavuma’s special run-out removed the dangerous Fawad Alam (45)
The Azam and Alam dismissals saw Pakistan slip from 145/3 to 149/5 and they were 229/7 at lunch on Day 2.
