A woman in her 40s has died after a bus and a car collided in Sydneys west.
The bus and sedan collided at about 8am on Saturday near the intersection of Argyle and OConnell streets in Parramatta.
The woman was the front-seat passenger of the sedan. She was unable to be freed from the wreckage of the crash and died at the scene, according to police.

The cars driver, a man in his 40s, and the male bus driver were both taken to Westmead Hospital with minor injuries. They will undergo mandatory testing.
There were no passengers on the bus, a 501 service from Parramatta to the city, at the time of the crash.

The bus appears to have veered into the side of a building in images from the crash site, which is near the Parramatta interchange.
Argyle Street has been closed between OConnell and Pitt streets and disruptions to traffic are expected to continue in Parramatta on Saturday morning.
