Here’s all the news from around the Emirates Stadium over the past 24 hours.
Partey praised
Thomas Partey’s performance against Tottenham was heavily praised by former Arsenal midfielder Gilberto Silva.
The Brazilian has insisted that the Ghana international is the best defensive-midfielder he has seen don a Gunners shirt since he left the club back in 2008.
“I guess so. In my opinion, I agree with you,” he told Astro SuperSport. “Hes a good player. Hes the type of player Arsenal were missing, Ive spoken a couple of times about it.
“They have good players in the [central midfield] position but not to sit and give Arsenal the stability they have.
“Look at the game [against Spurs] it was great to see how he managed his game, how he managed that position, helping [teammates].
“You know what is very important about this particular position? This is a very particular position because not every time you get the credit you deserve.
“Hes a good player. Hes the type of player Arsenal were missing, Ive spoken a couple of times about it.

Edu decides Arsenal’s next two moves
According to a report by the Express, Arsenal are interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan NDicka, so much so that they have already held talks with his representatives.
The France Under-21 international, who joined the German outfit from French club Auxerre in 2018 for just under £5million, has been a regular fixture in the Frankfurt defence this season, racking up 17 appearances in all competitions, chipping in with two goals.
But it’s not just N’Dicka that is on the Gunners’ radar ahead of the summer window as Brighton & Hove Albion midfield ace Yves Bissouma continues to attract interest.
Evan NDicka and Yves Bissouma are reportedly on Arsenal’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Express reports that Arsenal have been asked to be ‘kept informed’ of his situation ahead of the window opening.
Back in January, reported that Bissouma is a player the Gunners are keen on and that he would be open to the idea of joining Arsenal if the opportunity arose.

Interestingly, former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell believes Bissouma would be the perfect midfield partner for Partey.
“I think Arsenal could do with a player like him, for sure,” Campbell said on Amazon Prime after the Gunners’ win at Brighton back in December. “I think Thomas Partey needs a partner in the midfield with energy and I think that he would fit that bill perfectly.”

Guendouzi hints at £25m transfer u-turn
Funds are expected to be limited at Arsenal once again this summer, technical director Edu will have to get creative in order to bolster Mikel Arteta ‘s first-team squad ahead of next season.
With that in mind, there are several players the Brazilian can look to sell in order to raise funds.
This list looks set to include Matteo Guendouzi who is spending the season on loan at Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin after being frozen out by Arteta and has reportedly been told that he will be sold at the next opportunity.
That is according to reports which also claim that the Gunners have even slashed their asking price by £5million to attract potential buyers.

Previously valued at £30m last summer, the north London outfit are said to be willing to accept any offers in the region of £25m for the Frenchman who will be in the final year of his contract come June.
However, based on the Frenchman’s comments about his future it would appear that a £25m transfer u-turn is about to happen.
When asked by France Football if his Arsenal career is over, Guendouzi said: “No, not at all. Now, I am focused on my season with Hertha Berlin.
“Next, we will have a sit down with my entourage and people at the club to think and discuss the future. I am still an Arsenal player. This summer will be a decisive moment.”
