Actor Mandira Bedi celebrated the fifth birthday of her daughter Tara at home. Taking to Instagram Stories, Mandira shared pictures featuring herself, Tara and her son Vir. Mandira and her late husband Raj Kaushal had adopted Tara last year.
In the first picture, Vir smiled for the camera as he posed with bulb string lights hung around his neck. Mandira Bedi captioned the photo, “On his little sis’s birthday.”

In the second picture, Mandira and Tara smiled for the camera as she held her in her arms. The duo posed against a background full of pink- and peach-coloured balloons. Mandira captioned the post, “My girl wasnt denied her first birthday celebration in our home.”

On Wednesday, Mandira had wished Tara on turning five and shared a series of pictures. She had captioned it, “28th July ! One year today since you came into our lives, sweet sweet Tara.. And so we celebrate you today.. its your 5th birthday, my baby. I love you so much #beginagain.”

Last year, introducing Tara to her Instagram family, Mandira had posted a family portrait, saying she is blessed to have Tara in her life. “She has come to us, Like a blessing from above. Our little girl, Tara. Four years and a bit. With eyes that sparkle like stars. Sister to her Vir. Welcoming her home. With open arms and pure love. Grateful, thankful. blessed. Tara Bedi Kaushal. Became a part of our family on 28th July 2020,” Mandira had written.
Mandira, who lost her husband Raj Kaushal on June 30 to a heart attack, has been sharing posts on Instagram. Recently, she had shared a post expressing her gratefulness to have her family by her after Raj’s death. Posting a picture of herself with her parents as well as Vir and Tara, she had captioned it, “Only Love. #Grateful for my #Family and all the love, support and kindness #gratitude #love #thanks.”

Earlier this month, Mandira had remembered the 25 years the couple had spent together. Marking her 23rd wedding anniversary, Mandira had posted a string of images on Instagram and written, “25 years of knowing each other. 23 years of marriage.. through all the struggle.. through every crest and trough.” Mandira and Raj got married in 1999.
